Things worth knowing first.

  • This is a website and business toolkit. It does not provide legal advice, and it does not verify or certify that your operation complies with any law. Those responsibilities remain entirely yours.
  • Regulated work does not automatically get ordinary online-store behavior. There is no checkout, no card processing and no delivery. Ordering here is a request that you handle in whatever way your rules require.
  • An age prompt is available and configurable. Whether you need one, and what it should say, is your decision to make with your own advisers.
  • Lab documents are published exactly as you upload and describe them. Nothing is validated, scored or interpreted on your behalf.

We would rather say this now than have you discover it after building the site.

Designs made for this work

Pick a direction, then make it yours.

Complete designs with real pages and example content you can replace. Every business name shown is fictional.

The pages you start with

Every page has a job.

This is the real starting set for cannabis caregivers — the same pages your site is built from on the first day. Rename them, reorder them or add your own.

01

Home

A calm introduction, an age prompt if you use one, and where to go next.

02

Strains

Cultivars with descriptions and current availability, presented without hype.

03

Lab Reports

Documents organized by batch, with the dates and labs as they appear on the reports.

04

Grow Status

What stage things are at and what is expected next.

05

About

Who you are, how you work and what you will and will not do.

06

Contact

A form that collects what you need, without collecting more than you should.

A normal day

Keeping a Green Goat page current

Green Goat is a fictional caregiver operation. Keeping the site accurate is a handful of small updates, not a project.

  1. After a harvest

A cultivar moves from flowering to available, and the status on the site follows.

  2. When the lab reports arrive

The document is uploaded against its batch, with the test date recorded as it appears on the report.

  3. When something runs out

Availability changes to unavailable. The page stays up, so people can see what tends to come around.

  4. Every few weeks

A short journal note with two photos from the grow. That is what people come back for.

Questions

Short answers.

Do you handle compliance for me?

No, and be wary of anything that says it does. This is a website and a set of business tools. Legal and regulatory responsibility stays with you and your own advisers.

Can I sell online?

No. There is no checkout and no card processing. The tools here publish information and collect requests, which you then handle your own way.

Is the age prompt required?

It is available and configurable, and whether you need it is your call. It can be set to a minimum age and can remember a visitor’s answer.

Why is there a reference example?

Green Goat is a fictional example we built so you can see the design and the structure before you commit an evening to it. It is not a real operation.
