Whoever runs our website next will be a volunteer with two hours a month. That was the whole requirement.

Straight answers

Things worth knowing first.

  • Donations are explained and linked out to whichever service you already use. Taking donation payments directly is not available, because online card payments are still planned.
  • Memberships work the same way today: you can describe the options and collect interest, and handle payment however you already do.
  • Keep sign-up forms modest. Collect what you need to run the program, especially for anything involving young people or vulnerable adults.

We would rather say this now than have you discover it after building the site.

The pages you start with

Every page has a job.

This is the real starting set for nonprofits & community — the same pages your site is built from on the first day. Rename them, reorder them or add your own.

01

Home

What you do, who it is for and the one thing you most want a visitor to do.

02

Mission

Why the organization exists, in language a neighbor would use.

03

Programs

What runs, when, where, and whether somebody can just show up.

04

Events

What is coming, with details clear enough that nobody has to call and check.

05

Get Involved

Volunteer, donate, attend or share — each one a real next step.

Questions

Short answers.

Can we take donations through the site?

You can explain your campaigns and link to the service you already use. Taking payments directly is not available, because online card payments are still planned.

Will a volunteer be able to update it?

That is the design goal. Adding an event or an announcement is filling in a short form, not editing a page layout.

Is there a discount for nonprofits?

The free plan is genuinely usable for a small organization, with a real site, forms and visitor reports. Starter adds events, documents and announcements at $9 a month.

Can several people help without sharing one login?

Yes. Starter includes a small team and Pro includes more, each with their own account and notification settings.
