A normal day
What the website saves in one week
North County Assembly is fictional, but this is the ordinary week of a community organization with a working site.
- Monday
The month’s events go up in ten minutes. That replaces the four emails somebody used to send.
- Tuesday
A member finds last month’s minutes without asking anyone, because they are on the resources page.
- Wednesday
A newcomer reads what to expect on a first visit and decides to come along.
- Friday
Bad weather closes Saturday’s gathering. One announcement, with an end date, and it clears itself on Sunday.
- Sunday
Nobody had to ask the same question in the group chat six times.
Straight answers
Things worth knowing first.
- Membership dues and donations are described and linked out to whatever service you already use. Taking payments directly is not available, because online card payments are still planned.
- Documents can be published openly or kept for signed-in visitors. Decide which is which before you upload anything with personal details in it.
- If your group works with young people, keep sign-up forms to the minimum you actually need, and follow whatever safeguarding guidance applies to you.
We would rather say this now than have you discover it after building the site.

Can we collect membership dues?
You can explain the options and collect interest, then take payment however you do now. Online card payments are planned and not available yet.
Can we keep some documents private?
Yes. Resources can be published openly or restricted to signed-in visitors.
Who will keep it updated?
Whoever has ten minutes. Adding an event or an announcement is filling in a short form, and the committee can share the work without sharing one login.
Is the free plan enough for a small group?
It gets you a real site with pages, a gallery, common questions and a contact form. Events, documents and announcements come with Starter at $9 a month.
