How it works

Three steps, then it runs itself.

01

List what you offer

Add items with prices, choices and extras. Mark something sold out for the day and it stops being orderable until you say otherwise.

02

Let people order without calling

A customer picks their items, chooses a pickup time and leaves their phone number. You get everything at once instead of in pieces.

03

Move it along and keep them posted

Received, confirmed, being prepared, ready. Each change can send the customer a private link showing where their order stands.

How it actually goes

Friday, 3:45 PM

Fieldnote Farm is a fictional farm stand taking preorders for Saturday market. Here is one order, end to end.

  1. 3:45 PM

A customer orders two dozen eggs, a loaf and the last of the strawberries for a nine o’clock pickup.

  2. 3:45 PM

The order lands in the dashboard with the items, the total and the pickup time. Nobody had to answer the phone during chores.

  3. 6:10 PM

You mark the strawberries sold out. The next visitor sees that immediately instead of ordering something you cannot fill.

  4. Saturday, 8:30 AM

You mark the order ready. The customer gets a note and a link showing exactly what is waiting.

  5. Saturday, 9:04 AM

They pay at the stand and go. The order stays in your history with everything it contained.

In practice

What this looks like in a real week.

Restaurants & Food

Pickup preorders on a busy service night

Items, choices, extras and a pickup time arrive together, so nobody is repeating an order back over the noise of a kitchen.

Farms & Agriculture

This week’s share, ordered ahead

Availability changes with the harvest. Sell out an item in a tap and the site stops offering it.

Automotive & Repair

Service requests with the details filled in

Vehicle, symptoms, how long it has been happening and a photo of the warning light — collected before the car arrives.

What you get

Orders & Requests, without another separate app.

Your site, your customers and your recent activity stay together, so you type less into two places and have fewer connections to keep working.

01
Pay at pickup, and no cut for us

Customers pay you directly when they collect. There is no platform percentage on a normal order.

02
Choices and extras that make sense

Sizes, add-ons, preparation notes and quantity limits, so an order arrives complete instead of half-specified.

03
A status link customers can check themselves

Each order gets a private link. People check it instead of calling to ask whether it is ready.

04
A history you can actually search

Every order stays with its items, times and status changes, which makes the awkward “what did we do last time” conversation easy.

Worth knowing

What is not ready yet.

  • Online card payments are planned and are not available yet. Today, customers pay you when they collect their order.
  • A dedicated kitchen screen for working through tickets is planned for a later release. For now, orders live in a clear dashboard list you can sort and filter.

We would rather tell you now than have you find out after you have built the site.

Questions

Short answers.

Do you take a percentage of each order?

No. You pay your monthly plan and nothing per order. There is no platform commission on normal pay-at-pickup orders.

Can customers pay on the website?

Not yet. Online card payments are planned. Today an order is a firm request, and the customer pays you at pickup.

What about delivery?

You can offer pickup times and collect an address in the order details. Route planning and delivery fees are not part of the product today.

Can I turn ordering off in the quiet season?

Yes. Hide it and the pages disappear from your site. Your items and past orders stay exactly where they were for when you turn it back on.
