A normal day

A Thursday at Morrow Table

Morrow Table is a fictional thirty-four seat restaurant. Here is how its website earns its keep on an ordinary service day.

  1. 9:30 AM

The chef updates tonight’s menu from her phone. The halibut is in, the duck is off. The site changes the second she saves.

  2. 11:20 AM

Someone searching for dinner near Market Lane finds the menu and reads it comfortably on a phone.

  3. 3:45 PM

Two pickup preorders arrive for Friday, each with items, choices and a collection time. Nobody answered a phone.

  4. 5:05 PM

Doors open. A couple without a reservation joins the waitlist from the little sign by the host stand.

  5. 9:40 PM

A regular leaves five stars after the follow-up note. It waits for approval before it appears anywhere.

Straight answers

Things worth knowing first.

  • Orders are paid at pickup today. Online card payments are planned and are not available yet.
  • A dedicated kitchen screen for working through tickets is planned for a later release. For now, orders appear in a clear dashboard list.
  • Table reservations can be handled as booking requests you confirm. A live table-management floor plan is not part of the product.

We would rather say this now than have you discover it after building the site.

Questions

Short answers.

Can I update the menu myself?

Yes, from any phone. Mark an item sold out or seasonal and the site updates the moment you save.

Do you take a cut of orders?

No. There is no platform percentage on pay-at-pickup orders. You pay your monthly plan and nothing per order.

What if I only want a menu site?

Start there. Ordering, waitlists and events stay hidden until you want them, and hiding a tool never deletes your work.

Can guests book a table?

You can take reservation requests and confirm them yourself, or keep it simple with a phone number and the waitlist.
